; equipping parents, engaging students, and simplifying homeschool for everyone

Disclaimer: I received a FREE copy of this product through the HOMESCHOOL REVIEW CREW in exchange for my honest review. I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way.

My veteran homeschooling friend always told me the first year is just figuring out what works and what doesn’t for your family and individual learners. I’m beginning to understand just how right she was. We started homeschooling last fall with a 6th grader, a 3rd grader, and an early preschooler. I quickly became overwhelmed learning about various methods and the vast array of curriculum, but we muddled through with some great successes and colossal failures. One of our family’s biggest challenges was quality flexible curriculum at an affordable price that I didn’t have to assemble from scratch.

Then another friend introduced me to the Homeschool Review Crew, which led to me becoming a member of the Crew and included a complimentary subscription to This Ultimate PreK-12 Annual Membership is an online membership with one price for the whole family. Besides multiple lesson options for your core curriculum, there’s Foreign Language, Music, Art, Computer and Technology, Drama and Speech, Health and Fitness, and electives like Accounting 101, Business Plan Creation, Breadmaking Devotional, Career Exploration, and College Choice Guidance. Courses vary in length so you can select shorter focused classes, or use one full-spectrum course per subject for the entire year.

This subscription has already become a sanity and money saver for our homeschool. We can continue with the method we’ve chosen as a family, yet everything we need for curriculum is at my fingertips. Or, if you prefer, you can use their Scope and Sequence section to put a subject or grade together for you. You can also print certificates of completion for each course and keep records of schedule, attendance, courses, and grades, as well as a portfolio through AppleCore as part of your subscription.

Lesson plans can be downloaded, printed, or used in Google Classroom or another online platform. There’s also a selection of video-based interactive courses without Mom or Dad directly teaching as well as full access to World Book, an online resource library with lots of learning tools, games, and eBooks. All curriculum through and their affiliates promote a Christian worldview.

Our preschooler loves the Bible videos and the Charlotte Mason preschool. All our students love the access to World Book.

Our 3rd grader is loving the Drama and Speech course, Simply Shakespeare, and the Health and Fitness course, Growing Healthy in Third Grade.

Growing Healthy in Third Grade Course

Our 6th grader is enjoying the Preventing and Responding to Emergencies Course for his Health and Fitness class. He is studying the human anatomy in science.

We’re using some of the Daily Writing, Daily Grammar, and Everyday Copywork, Daily Games, Daily Puzzlers, and Daily Math as we get back into the school rhythm following Christmas break.

If you’re like me and wanted to homeschool, but wasn’t sure you could successfully educate your children, eliminates that concern. This subscription is as fun for parents as it is for students. I could spend hours a day just planning out a year’s worth of studies. I have to show restraint because I want to try everything they offer, but I would easily overwhelm my students because of the amount of content available. They also provide courses and tutorials for parents. Their customer service is available by chat or phone if you have any questions as you’re planning. A subscription to allows a parent to jump right into homeschooling without any prior teaching experience.

Overall, I highly recommend for a full-service affordable homeschool curriculum.
