Cheddar Bay Biscuits

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 Tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated


  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic or garlic powder


  • Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter with pastry cutter. Stir in milk and cheese. Drop onto cookie sheet to form biscuits. Bake at 400 degrees 12-15 minutes, or until golden. Melt butter, add seasonings, and brush on top of hot biscuits. Serve immediately.
