It is wonderful she can be taken care of with people she loves and loves her!
Yes. It is wonderful. We’re so thankful for Audrey who does so much for her/for us, all the time!
I will never regret my daily walk with my dad through dementia, but I also know my continuing feeling of “how long can I continue to do this) He definitely became the child and me the parent, but he would only fuss slightly and he always still showed appreciation of us being with him. Such a hard journey, thinking of all of you
Thank you! Yes, Lee is definitely the parent now. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the linkup! Hope you love these as much as we do!
My Christian faith is based on the Bible. I believe in heaven and that the saved will be taken there at the second coming of Jesus. I believe that hell is the destruction of the unsaved, sin, and Satan himself. I believe that death is a state of unconsciousness or as being asleep until Christ returns.
I suppose one could make the case against a literal heaven and hell and say that it is more of a subjective personal experience on earth. But if that were the case, what was the point of Jesus’ life and then Crucifixion on earth? If Christ didn’t die to save us from the punishment for sin (eternal hell after death) why was his death necessary? If His role on earth was to impart wisdom to live a better life and be happier how can we explain the extreme persecution and martyrdom nearly all of his disciples and thousands of believers have have experienced since his death and resurrection? In fact scripture makes it clear in 2 Timothy 3:12 that following Christ will bring persecution. I’m not sure how persecution and martyrdom could equate to a heaven on earth. I’m quite sure that his disciples would not have endured such consistent hardship and death all for the promise of some future “good karma” in their lives. Their actions only make sense if they believed Jesus’ words in John 14:2-3 “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
Perhaps I don’t understand the other perspective, I certainly struggle to reconcile my understanding of it with my understanding of scripture. I would be curious to hear from one who does though, as I’m sure my bias does not allow me to unpack the consent fully.
Thanks for the thought provoking post.
We loved the Carol P. Roman books too! We still have ours from several years ago.
We learned so much reading them. They were great.
My girls always enjoyed these books too. We still have several in our library and they still go back to pick them up every now and again. The one about Douglas MacArthur is fascinating.
We’ll have to check that one out then, too! It was so much fun to see how much he loved reading this.
Thanks for reading and reviewing the books. Glad your family enjoyed!!!
Thank you. These were great!
great review
Thank you!
Thank you for the review. We love to make our students happy, so here are some tweaks we have made based on recent reviews:
1. All course videos are open and do not require sequential completion–although we still recommend it.
2. We contacted Vimeo and they have improved the video experience by installing volume control and full screen options on all videos.
3. We added more options to drawing part 2 to help it move along more quickly for younger students.

We loved this Latin program, we used it all the way through Fourth Form Latin. I’m glad your kids enjoy it!
Yes. I’m so glad we were able to experience this curriculum. I’m planning to continue it in the fall.
Hugs to you sweet friend. 17 years for me next month. They matter, they are loved.
Yes. Hugs to you, too.
Tears, love, and understanding 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Thank you so much
It doesn’t matter what age they are, losing a child is the most heart breaking tragedy imaginable and we just don’t get over it. Hugs and prayers to you.
Thank you so much!
Looks like so many fun items to incorporate into your homeschooling day!
Yes! It’s great!
